Melbourne based Kiwi musician and producer Oakley Grenell is set to embark on his Serious Time Tour following the release of his fresh dancefloor release featuring Rayjah45.

Producer, guitarist and record label owner Oakley Grenell has emerged from his Melbourne studio set to showcase his 13th release in 17 years. The man behind projects such as reggae band Otautahi Allstars, jazz fusionists Departure Lounge and Rolling Stone's 4 out 5 star rated album Moving On, has surfaced with his new single Serious Time, featuring Sydney based vocalist Rayjah45.

Rayjah put pen to paper to heed the warning of what humans are capable of doing to each other. He offers a glimmer of hope if we decide to help each other and change for the greater good. Harkening back to his first electronic release in 2002, the Jaded EP, Grenell seamlessly glides to a bouncy double time feel which uplifts the horn inspired intro for a dance floor filler.

To spread this music and message, Grenell embarks on a 12 date Summer Tour showcasing unreleased gems and underground hits from his past 11 albums over sound systems, festival PA’s and clubs across NZ.

Serious Time has production contributions from producer wiz 10a (a former music student of Oakley’s from Aranui High School), mixed by John ‘Hooves' Clayton and mastered by Hospital Records don, Dan Gresham aka Nu:Tone.
