Our favourite kiwi producer is back at it, with dub juggernaut Mt Eden having teamed up with American up and comer T-Mass, to bring us this year’s feel good track As One (ft. Aviella Winder).
New Zealand dub legend Mt. Eden has joined forces with rising US EDM star T-Mass to create a track so uplifting, it’s bound to leave you in a good mood. As One practically emanates warmth and happiness and its global release, set for December 6th, appears perfectly timed to spread those positive vibes ahead of the holiday season.
With Mt. Eden already long established as a household name in the electronic scene and San Franciscan producer T-Mass continuing to make waves ever since his 2015 collaboration with the iconic Far East Movement, the fact that the track additionally features twenty one year old Californian singer/songwriter Aviella Winder, makes this release a true meeting of creative minds.
After exploding onto the music scene in 2009, with the meteoric success of the initially underground track Sierra Leone going viral on YouTube, Mt. Eden consistently remains ahead of the curve. With over 100 million combined video views for that track alone, frontman Jesse Cooper quickly took the international stage by storm and has been consistently booked out ever since. He has frontlined performances at marquis U.S. events such as Coachella, Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) and Electric Forest and having now taken Mt Eden on as a solo project, Jesse has teamed up with the prestigious Ultra Records for his next few singles.
With a track that conveys both hope and vulnerability, where commercial appeal meets artistic individuality, As One takes you on an electric journey and should spark joy in any true bass lover’s heart. Not only does it stand testament to Mt. Eden’s existing status within the creative industry, but signals the beginning of far more to come.
