Band & Musician News - Berlin-based Kiwi duo Krispy & The Pooch release their new single: 'Rollin'

Berlin-based Kiwi duo Krispy & The Pooch release their new single: 'Rollin'

11 September 2019 - 0 Comments

Fresh off the release of their debut EP Something Strange For Change, Krispy and The Pooch are back with their latest offering, a smooth, disco-infused banger: Rollin', featuring sultry Kiwi vocalist, Zoe Baird (best known for her work on Sachi’s smash hit: No More)

Rollin’ is an energetic yet intimate look at love and loss and features a busy arrangement of vintage synths, strings and effects, topped off with a thumping 4-to-the-floor kick drum for good measure.

''This track reflects the vibe of our current home more than any track we've written to date. Berlin is a melting pot of great musicians so we couldn’t resist calling upon some of the cities finest jazz cats, Omri Abramov (EWI) and Nir Sabag (Congas), to sprinkle a bit of extra funk on the track which has really taken it to the next level.''

The track is self-produced, recorded, arranged and mixed by Krispy (Kriston Batistic) & The Pooch (Simon Townsend) and mastered by Silver Scroll winner Thomas Oliver. Rollin’ will be released on all major streaming platforms September 14th.
