Band & Musician News - Luke Casey Lets down his 'Holiday Hair'

Luke Casey Lets down his 'Holiday Hair'

26 November 2012 - 0 Comments

Summer’s just around the corner and to celebrate, Luke Casey releases his new sun-filled power pop single “Holiday Hair”.

Reminiscent of a 90’s Supergrass anthem, this sonic offering was recorded with Casey’s band TinPot Guru at The LabStudios, Auckland with Oliver Harmer at the helm.

In conjunction with the new release comes Casey’s up-beat video for the single. Filmed by Matt Meikle and edited by Fergus Milner, the video comprises the entire band plus a few tots jamming in a bouncy castle with inflatable toys…the perfect kick-start to summer!

After a successful career as the drummer for Eye TV and Relaxomatic Project, Casey has stepped out from behind the drum-kit, spending the last few years polishing his singer/song-writing skills.

Let’s hope he lets his hair down more often.

“Holiday Hair” is available via Amplifier and iTunes.
