Band & Musician News - Fiona Pears releases 'Feeling'

Fiona Pears releases 'Feeling'

01 March 2012 - 0 Comments

‘Electrifying’ – ‘extraordinarily animated’ – ‘featuring rare and natural charisma’….

These are words used to describe Fiona Pears, the beautiful and highly talented violinist and composer from Christchurch.

Describing her musical influences as Stephane Grappelli, Django Reinhardt, John Williams and Jean Luc Pointy, Pears performs Celtic, Classical, Tango, Jazz and Gypsy with equal ease, sometimes all in the same composition!

The brand new CD Feeling is released nationwide on March 2nd 2012. Fiona talks about it here:-

“This CD is a personal record for me with many new compositions inspired by the last several years of my life. All of my compositions have stories. I don’t think I would be able to write if it was not for the stunning people in my life and also the wonderful opportunities I have had to travel to so many interesting places around the world.”
