'Ecstasy’s Not Life' is the debut EP from hardcore/punk/metal band Oxboy.
Formed in late 2008, Oxboy hail from Hawkes Bay, New Zealand. The band includes ex-members of Devils Elbow, Tempo 38 and Fatcop (UK) and play old style new school punk metal light-hearted heavy hard out choice shit in the vein of DRI, RATM, BC, SOAD, ST, MOD. Oxboy are not afraid of meat or the booze.
'Ecstasy’s Not Life' was recorded at Hit Your Head Music by Alec Withers (Devils Elbow, Tempo 38, Angel Hammer and Servo), and mastered by Ian G. Morris (Th’ Dudes, Dave Dobbyn and When The Cat’s Away).
