Auckland-based singer-songwriter Jenni Smith has just announced the release of her highly anticipated new single, I Don’t Know How Not To, set to drop on the 16th of June 2023. This infectious track, produced by Luan, showcases Jenni's heartfelt lyrics and dynamic vocals against a pop-infused production, creating a unique and irresistible sound. I Don’t Know How Not To tells the relatable story of two best friends struggling with the complexities of developing romantic feelings for each other and feeling unsure if they should risk expressing their desire.

Jenni first made waves in the country music scene in 2018 when she won the NZCMA Songwriter of the Year and pursued her passion for songwriting at The University of Auckland’s Popular Music Degree, from which she has now graduated. Jenni released her debut single Make It or Break It, in March 2021, which garnered critical acclaim and a devoted fanbase. Since then, she has been impressing the industry with her captivating live performances and dynamic songwriting. Jenni has been described as a “Kiwi Songstress” and a “Country Star,” drawing comparison to one of her biggest influences, Taylor Swift.
