'All This Love' – New Track from Emma G feat. Nia Monae

27 May 2023 - 0 Comments

What happens when singer/songwriter Emma G is told that – if she’s going to live in the United States – she needs to date someone that comes from where she comes from? The American-Iranian-Fijian-Norwegian-Kiwi songstress laughs, asks how that’s even possible, and then responds with her newest track: All this Love. A proclamation that love is love, no matter its race, color, or creed: Emma G uses music with a message to clap back against anyone who denies love because of what it looks like.

“In a world that is still facing so much pain and struggle every day,” the songstress explains, “it boggles my mind that people still refuse love simply because of how it looks. I wrote All this Love because I want to honor the importance of love – for our happiness, and success. We all deserve love. We all deserve to love. Love is powerful.”

Emma G originally wrote All this Love back in 2016, but when her then musical partner in crime realized that the multi-award-winning songwriter wasn’t just discussing racial prejudice, but sexual orientation as well: he dropped the project – and her – forcing Emma G to rethink her career goals. Not long after: Emma G found her life-producer: Flightboy Music, and began to embark on a mission to save the world one song at a time – through composing, recording, performing and now coaching people [to write their own] songs that transmute pain into power. All This Love, due for release on June 1st in honor of Pride Month, is no exception.

“I’m releasing a song a month during 2023 in honor of a cause or awareness that is being honored that month, and since June is both Pride month, and the month that honors Juneteenth: I decided that All This Love was the perfect song to hit summer with”, Emma G continues. “because love isn’t just about romance… it’s about respecting and honoring ourselves, our cultures, communities and one another”.

And who better to join Emma G on this mission than another multi-award-winning artist: Nia Monae’, whose hit album 10,000 Hours and single Ten put her on the map in 2022 as the Best Hip Hop Artist of the DC Metro Area? With lyrics promoting self-love, the importance of honoring yourself, and – of course – equality – Nia Monae’s surprise guest verse brings an added spice to the ear-worm that is this pop/Latin-pop inspired track.
