Following the successful release of Go, YAHYAH’s next offering How I’m Feeling RN is a raw and honest take about a failed situationship.
Co-written and produced with Joel Jones, the pair introduced an Electro-Pop element to this track, as fans are treated to an edgier side to the Kiwi artist. “I think what is so relatable about this song is the pure rawness of saying this is exactly how I’m feeling,” YAHYAH explains, “it’s definitely one of my favourite songs I’ve ever written because it came from journal entries and poems that were written in my notes app on my iPhone.”
Accompanying the single is a stunning Visualiser, which was shot and directed by Doug Bagg and Dylan Rush. Deserving its own moment, fans can expect the visual piece to drop the following week.
How I’m Feeling RN is out Friday, 26th May on all streaming platforms. Plus, catch YAHYAH performing live this weekend at LA Women’s Hell Of A Night Raglan show and 95bFM’s Fancy New Band showcase.
