Impostor Syndrome release their wildly experimental debut album 'Oriens' on 28 October

05 October 2022 - 0 Comments

Impostor Syndrome is an experimental recording project based in Auckland, New Zealand. Oriens is their debut album and draws from many personal experiences over the years while at the same time blending nightmarish fiction and dream-like visions. The course of the album follows a journey of change, through the dark and the light. Band members Ryan Culleton, Shannon Coulomb and Scott Nicolson spent their time during the pandemic to further their learning and creative experimentation as they constructed their own recording space. The results of their work and passion will be shared on October 28th, 2022.

“...This is a life-altering psychedelic expedition of self-exploration, deep into the psyche. This genre spanning opus touches on grunge, thrash, psychedelic rock and almost everything in between.” - Muzic.net.nz on second single Locksmith.
