Warren Duncan levels up with his latest Amapiano release 'We Could'

Producer & multi-instrumentalist Warren Duncan has today released his new single, We Could.

We Could plays on the idea of memorable moments of romance between lovers as Warren uses soulful touches of brilliance on this new Amapiano masterpiece; a young House music genre out of South Africa.

Produced by Duncan, a sense of romance is captured as he builds on his use of soulful chord progressions coupled with persuasive lyrics, written and sung by singer songwriter Siposetu.

Another special mention is the inclusion of rap on this track, delivered by none other than upcoming New Zealand artist Gino October; who in his own right brings something special to enhance the entire listening experience.

We Could is the second single to drop from Duncan this year, as he continues to establish himself by amplifying the genre of Ampaiano in New Zealand.

“It has been special to see more of our music and more of our sounds from Africa being played and broadcasted throughout the wider New Zealand music community. My culture is something that I am very proud of, and I jump at the chance to share a bit more of myself through the music I produce.”

Duncan continues to produce quality music at a high standard as he forges his own musical path in Aotearoa. He will continue to be one to watch as he looks to the year ahead to spread his wings and venture out, with numerous creative opportunities in Australia and South Africa within his sights. We Could proves to be a big step forward as he continues to show off more of the creative class recently seen in his previous release No Tomorrow.

Over the last few months Duncan has been making his impression amongst the listening audiences of Auckland with performances ranging from Highlife’s Sunsetter Festival 2021 to local spots in the CBD; Trilogy, Cassette 9, Sweet Affairs, Infinity and Saint Alice to name a few.

Duncan is well on the way to his next musical chapter with more releases set for 2022. As he hints at an album to be released early in 2022 to compliment his debut EP Chemistry, there really is so much to look forward to for this young producer.
