After five years, Hollie Smith makes her triumphant return with the first track to be released from her upcoming 4th solo album.
Packing plenty of heart and relevance, the lead single Coming in from the Dark is the sound of one emerging from a time of struggle and turmoil. The release comes ahead of the self-directed official music video – which drops at 7pm this evening.
Starting from a tender backdrop of a solitary slow-burning piano, Hollie then goes toe-to-toe with the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra as the song builds into a towering swell of emotion. Tender, triumphant and full of hope, Coming in from the Dark is released in both English and Te Reo (Ko te hinatoretanga) and sees Hollie at her most dynamic and resolute.
