Band & Musician News - Hotel Death Star Release 'Truth or Dare' Remix

Hotel Death Star Release 'Truth or Dare' Remix

22 June 2021 - 0 Comments

Hotel Death Star recently took the opportunity to remix the hit single Truth or Dare by Jakarta based indie pop/ rock outfit Dead Bachelors.

Andreas Arianto initiated the idea as both a member of HDS and producer/co-writer for Dead Bachelors. Approaching the remix, HDS gave the track a complete makeover, pushing it into darker territory to align with their sound, while the upbeat R&B, pop style Dead Bachelors vocals remain an integral hook throughout the song.

Standing out is the slightly unorthodox outro, a haunting piano composition with classical roots, taking the listener through an emotional journey from anticipation and hope, to optimism and reward.

Truth or Dare is currently the highest spinning track for Dead Bachelors with over 250,000 plays on Spotify alone. Recent years have seen them gather swift momentum and success with increased streaming, fans, radio play and live shows.
