Poneke psych-pop outfit Androgynous Lemon are thrilled to announce their second single of 2021; Cherry Mountain. Cherry Mountain will be digitally available through all good streaming services from 18 February, 2021.
Androgynous Lemon are described as celestial lemon-kin offering whimsical hooks, growling depth and slick tasty grooves.
Cherry Mountain was brought to the band in mid 2019 and has since been a staple crowd favourite. Vocalist Amy Bonsor speaks of the fictitious and fantastical Cherry Mountain, a daydream of wish fulfilment, whisking audiences away from their daily worries. Recorded alongside its predecessor Honeypot, Cherry Mountain will be supported by a series of hometown shows over Feb/ March. These notably include, The Performance Arcade on Wellington's waterfront, and a soon to be announced O-Week event.
