Chores are back at it again with the release of their third single from their upcoming debut EP. Forever features Australian vocalist, Akacia, and is another stellar dance-pop beat to add to the soundtrack of summer.

Combining Akacia’s ethereal vocals, with Chores’ signature dance-beat production - this track is equal parts feel good nostalgia as it is a roaring dance floor filler.
Sitting right in the house music sweet spot with a bouncing and bumping baseline, it features the distinct vocal manipulation on the dance sections reminiscent of the works of Pnau.
This track has already been earmarked as Chores’ strongest work to date. Combined with the enormous presence Akacia has already gained on Spotify and YouTube - this track is one to watch.
Forever is the third single from Chores’ upcoming debut EP - Working From Home, to be released in coming months.
The single follows on from the success of Girls featuring Doolie, which premiered with Purple Sneakers in Australia and has had radio play from Triple J and George FM, ZM and Pulzar FM.
Previous Chores releases have been widely embraced by Spotify and radio stations Triple J, Triple J Unearthed, FBi, 4ZZZ, RTR FM, ZM, The Edge and George fm. They’ve also seen support from online tastemakers Pilerats, Acid Stag, Stoney Roads, Purple Sneakers and Surviving the Golden Age (US). The duo have won several awards, including ‘Best Electronic Act’ at the 2018 New Zealand Music Awards and ‘Breakthrough Artist’ at the Georgies in 2017.
Chores have spent years honing their craft, DJing and performing at a range of New Zealand’s biggest festivals including Rhythm and Vines, Northern Bass, Bay Dreams and Deep Hard N Funky, as well as supporting dance music luminaires Basement Jaxx, What So Not, Duke Dumont, Peking Duk, The Chainsmokers and A-Trak.
This summer is no different with Chores booked to play a number of shows across festival season including Deep Hard N’ Funky, Rhythm and Vines, Britomart Block Party and the George FM Summer Series. Catch Forever featuring in the wrap-up video for the recent Rhythm and Vines festival HERE
