Elidi

Bio

Elidi is a progressive metal band from Christchurch, New Zealand.

Having achieved local success supporting bands such as The Ocean, Northlane, Villiany and Head Like a Hole, Elidi are known for their precise, high energy performances.

The music is dark, cerebral, and relentlessly heavy. With moments of lyrical introspective reflection on the world we see around us.

The four piece band consists of Dan Russell (vocals), Steve Howden (drums), Richie Jehan (guitars), Jack Orr (guitars)

In early 2018 Elidi - with the guidance of Tom Larkin, producer Samuel KSproull, and engineer Jon Grace - undertook the production and recording of ther SIN EP. The result is a collection of tracks which are influenced by bands such as Tool, Karnivool, Tesseract, and Deftones

After playing over 20 shows in 2022 nationwide, Elidi has spent the majority of 2023 writing and recording their debut full length album, which is planned to release in 2024.
