Bio

Otautahi’s local surf side band An Octave Below and their alternative indie pop music are one to keep a close eye on.

An Octave Below is making waves around Christchurch rehearsing out of lounges and music rooms to play at events city wide. This 5-piece band have all found their place In the music industry with debut single Honesty being released on 31st March 2023.

With many disruptions over the past 3 years such as Covid-19 and lockdowns, this band has still managed to weave their way through the difficulties to emerge on a high, performing to the public on many occasions. An Octave Below has been recognised through Rockquest, by winning awards, on social media where they have major support and interactions with fans, live performances set to be released on YouTube, and supporting as well as headlining acts from around Christchurch on the live stage.
