The past 12months it would seem that Dj Logikal had hung his hat up, disappeared from the Hip Hop scene & was living in Mexico raising 5 kids, where in fact he has been globe trotting around the world representing New Zealand in Japan, Dubai, Australia & California doing what he does best.

Representing Xbox 360 as an Official DJ, Logikal has just returned from LA
where he spent the past 2months Djing nightclubs in Hollywood, Long Beach & Downtown LA performing to crowds upwards of 3,000 people. Keeping his ear to the street working with up and coming talent, Logikal also DJ’ed at house parties in Compton, Watts, Lynnwood and an instore performance at Fat Beat’s LA.

Jumping in the studio to record music for an up coming Mixtape, Logikal has been working with & producing beats for the crème de la crème of West Coast Artist’s. Having the opportunity of a life time, Logikal was invited to Dr Dre’s personal studio, Record One working with Aftermath’s new artist Bishop Lamont.

Making an impact on the West Coast scene, bringing his New Zealand touch to the decks & studio, he managed to still find time to mix & host a hand full of mixtapes for upcoming LA artist’s kicking off 2008 at the top of the his game Officially connecting the dots from the West Coast to Auckland, Dj Logikal is the newest member of U.S DJ crew, Cali Untouchable DJ’s, formed by the Mixtape King & Pioneer, XXL Magazine Best DJ, Dj Warrior.
