Bio

Authors is a five-piece metalcore band from Wellington. Formed in 2011, they have been relentlessly playing shows and steadily building a following across the country. They are known for their blend of melodic, technical instrumentation and heavy breakdowns, while maintaining a commitment energetic live shows.

2012 has been a busy year for the group, embarking on a few small tours, opening for international acts and recording their self produced debut release, Measured Footsteps.

The EP Measured Footsteps is a representation of where the band has come from, and showcases their huge potential for the future. The songs are a battle of progression, soul searching, angst and energy. A proving ground as they push themselves as musicians and songwriters, constantly challenging the boundaries of their craft.
