Bio

DEFEKT consist of four members and come from a small town known as Te Aroha, based in the Waikato. They have been together for just over a year and have played many gigs throughout that year.

They play metal style of music. Because there are so many sub-genres under the specific "metal" genre these days, they try not to stick to one but try to cover all sub genres that makes up the metal style.

To put it in an easier interpretation of what they are talking about think, TOOL meets KORN whilst having an affair with DEFTONES and has an imperfect illegitimate child named DEFEKT.

Our fans believe that they have what it takes to become what is necessary to make it in this industry. Without this belief they would not be so committed to what they do.
