Kablestich
Bio
Loosely formed in mid 2004, from friends and schoolmates of Massey High and Ruderford. KableStich had finished writing their first original before the group had even had there first practice together. Loose practices once every month or two saw KableStich wanting to step up a gear. Firstly recording Demo 001 with former drummer Ryan which included the songs 'Thrive On' and 'Who’s In The Game' but still the band wanted more commitment and dedication. And so from early 2005 have picked up Ash Carnie on drums to form what is today’s KableStich.
Influences for the band spread across a very wide spectrum of genres and styles. Basing them selves in the Heavy Rock/Metal category but taking chunks from rock, progressive metal, jazz, blues, acoustic, dance, trance, dub, reggae and many more. Since the band has started writing, there music has undoubtedly become increasingly intricate and experimental pulling from more of the wider genres not normally associated with the metal category. Along side the heavy side of KableStich also lies their acoustic numbers which open a completely different side to all of the band members.

After two line up changes one being just recently the band has all ready successfully put on three of there own events getting over 100 punters to both as well as playing central venues such as Hysteria, St James Grand Circle and just recently The Kings Arms with bands such as Chuganaut, Sinate, Forever Now, Illicit + more. The band as already self funded a debut EP titled L.S.D (limited Sanity Dosage) which captures the early material the band has written as well as a very basic sound. This can be purchased at Real Groovy. KableStich is now in the practice studio preparing and writing materiel for first a Single and then back up video. To follow this will be a full-length album by mid next year. As well as supporting shows and tours. We have already recorded demos for this. The band wants to acquire a manger that is equals the motivation of the band to take it to the next step.
