Rick Lloyd

Bio

Born in Yorkshire England Rick moved to New Plymouth in 1987. A musical novice he started guitar lessons with local axeman Joe Smithers. Despite excellent tuition it wasn't until 2003 he had learned enough chords to play rhythm guitar in public. His first gig was with local blues outfit General Z.

A founder member of Blue Monkey Racket in 2006 Rick (by now playing bass) has seen the band release two albums and enjoy a strong local following.
