Fiona McEwen is a singer/songwriter who draws on folk, pop, rock and country influences to create unique songs with catchy melodies.
Fiona McEwen has performed extensively since 2004, either solo, in a duo with Steve Terry, or with bands, "The FM Band" and "Deep River", a collaboration with songwriter, Wendy Morris.
Fiona McEwen has been writing songs since 1987 and now has over 50 songs registered with APRA (Australasian Performing Rights Association).
For many years Fiona McEwen has organised music and poetry events including a successful open mic night in West Auckland from Sept 09 to Feb 11, and was the Co-Ordinator of a stage at the 2011 & 2012 Prana New Year Festivals in the Coromandel.
Fiona McEwen sings backing vocals on Wendy Morris's debut album "Entangled" (released June 12) and has recently relocated to South East Brisbane in Queensland, Australia, to be with family.
