Mike Conlon 'One Man Big Sound' is an alternative funk rock musician-singer song writer with a unique infectious style, influenced by a plethora of genres. Energetic live sets are performed on his live looping rig, called 'The Beast'. For some shows, for a chilled vibe, he will strip it right back to just the acoustic and few tricks.

Since going Solo in 2021, Conlon has built a strong following and has had multiple sold out performances, including shows with iconic NZ performers such as Shihad frontman, Jon Toogood and Jason Kerrison (OpShop). Key live shows are purpose driven, with events having raised over $13,000 for his charity or choice Loving Arms.

Waikato based, Mike was born in Wellington, spent his youth out West Auckland and had a stint in London. He is now ready to release his original music to New Zealand and beyond. Let’s hope people like it!
