Zillionaire

Bio

‘An engaging astute melancholy married to a healthy combination of profound pop classicism and sleek guitar shininess’- Iain Moffat, Playlouder

Zillionaire were founded by Wellingtonians Stephan Tomasek and guitarist Anthony Hall, who share an eclectic set of influences including Air, Jeff Buckley, Pink Floyd and Aimee Mann. They manage to reflect this diversity, yet thread a distinctive feel throughout their music - a unique sound that has seen an International online fanbase spiral to very healthy numbers. Meanwhile, their live London residency (at Steele’s) continues to grow in popularity and their album Comfort in the Machine gets it's official UK release in early 2006. The band have maintained a presence in New Zealand, playing a one of gig at Bodega in Wellington earlier in 2005 and have recieved regular radio support from Kiwi FM.

Band Members:
Stephan Tomasek (vocals, guitar)
Anthony Hall (guitar)
Lee Moulds (drums)
Mark Meharry (bass)
