Motorsheep

Bio

Motorsheep have been around for more than ten years, going through break-ups and reformations, but always churning out quality music. Arguably THE definitive Palmerston North band, the three-piece pound out power-pop crunching songs with an ear for quirky melodies. They play with powerhouse rhythm and often with a sly sense of humour pervading the songs.

Fiercely independent, the boys have churned out loads of releases and played many live gigs. They have twice toured the North Island, and have supported national and international bands, including the likes of Dead Moon, Horace Pinker, Citizen Fish, All You Can Eat, H-Block and Gas Huffer.

The recorded output of the band has included a string of songs that have charted in the Radio Massey Top 11, namely 'Alzheimers', 'Moisture', 'Pinochet', 'Numb', 'X-Factor', 'Cutting In', 'Jennifer 8' and 'Space Cake'. They have released 7" singles, EPs and albums, and have appeared on a number of compilations.

"I have never, as a reviewer or just as a listener, been disappointed by Motorsheep....Motorsheep have overcome all the odds and made an outstanding album" Real Groove
