Medieval Astronauts came third in the Hamilton Smokefree Rockquest 2001 and the 'Best Vocals' award went to Will.

Medieval Astronauts are a melodic emo-rock band with some great songs. They are one of the most non-New Zealand sounding bands. They have been getting regular airplay on the Edge Radio station and have also played on TV2's Good Morning Show.
