The Sick Boys

Bio

The Sick Boys are undoubtedly the worst band in New Zealand. This illegitimate trio of freaks has just surfaced in Auckland and is delivering some of the most disturbing performances ever experienced.

The Sick Boys peddle their rot via the medium of apparently innocent songs, but these fanciful ditties only barely disguise the moral depravity which The Sick Boys have made their bread and butter. Unbelievably, The Sick Boys are actually proud of their woeful reputation as New Zealand’s worst band and seem eager to snatch the world title from Trick Daddy. As singer/guitarist Danik Sygrove notes, "It’s one thing to get to the bottom, it’s another thing to stay there."

The Sick Boys certainly make no effort to raise themselves above their station and their filthy on-stage banter is the stuff that makes Turkish prison guards blush. The Sick Boys are not a band that you could take home to meet your mother and under no circumstances should anyone have sexual relations with these men or give them money.

'Rawhide', the debut single from The Sick Boys was released in June 2003.
