In Siberian Skies

Bio

Formed in 2007, In Siberian Skies is a 5 piece Alt-Rock band from Auckland, New Zealand. It all started when founding members Kevin (Stabby McStabson), Chris(Kittenman) and Hamish(The Ham) started jamming at Aucklands Killing Rooms with a nurse called Pete(Murse).

Pete soon took off to the lovely (and smelly) town of Rotorua to pursue his nursing career leaving Stabby, Kitten and The Ham to search for a new drummer. That's when Gareth (Shades) came into the picture. Shades first jam with the band was successful and the condition of his cymbals was enough to show his commitment to bashing the living crap out his kit (which we like).

The band was now on the look out for it's final member, the vocalist. After placing many ads and jamming with a couple of potentials Shades called up his old jamming mate Lyan Manes and asked him to come along. Lyan Manes fit in so well with the band that he became the 5th member and In Siberian Skies was born.

The band is set to start gigging at the beginning of August 2007 so come along to one of our gigs.

Band Members:
Lyan Manes (vocals)
Stabby McStabson (guitar)
The Ham (guitar)
Kittehman (bass)
Shades (drums)
