Tempist Fujit (a play on the Latin word Tempus Fugit meaning Time Flies)
A 4-piece dynamic rock band from Northland New Zealand.
Having created a sound that captures a wide range of individual genres creatively placed into the bands signature solid rock style with powerful lead vocals and hard-hitting live performances, when thinking of new music and were to start Tempist Fujit is the place to look.
Their first live performance as an original band in 2017 came in the form of a sold out show for their first single release Midnight Train followed by their second single Daynes Song which gained over 30,000 views on social media within the first few weeks of its release.
Tempist Fujit's long anticipated debut Album Time Flies was released in November 2018 to another sold out Audience and has taken the band on the road to promote the album and their latest single Home released November 2019. “Each song from the album is a representation of the vast musical and personal journeys taken by each band member to date.” Says Lisa the Lead Singer of the Tempist Fujit.
In between performances you will find Tempist Fujit in the studio writing and recording their EP due for release 2021.

A song dedicated to New Zealand when the band were overseas and got homesick they wrote this song, on returning home to settle down they recorded the song and video which takes you to some of New Zealand's most beautiful places, each scene being were each band member comes from.

Daynes Song is the second release from TEMPIST FUJIT debut Album Time Flies. It is a tribute to the bands nephew and cousin after he was badly burnt in an accident as a teenager. The song describes his strength and his successes as a grown man and burns survivor, and features a personal Rap the bass player composed for his cousin.

The first single from TEMPIST FUJIT Debut Album Time Flies. Midnight Train was performed to a sell out show on its debut launch. Written with influences from the lead singers Country background with Tempist Fujit's strong Rock influence clearly noted throughout the song, and as one of their popular live performance tracks it was a given this would be the first single to showcase their debut album.
