For Obvious Reasons (F.O.R) is a 5 piece pop-punk and alternative indie rock band hailing from the far side of West Auckland.

The band was founded by Shyam (lead guitarist ) and Glen D'Cruz(drums), who were previously in the same high-school band.

They decided that Auckland needed another up-and-coming band to add to the pop-punk scene, thus forming F.O.R.

Alex, David and Clyde were also in their own high-school band and joined, to fit the missing pieces of the band! With Alex on vocals, Dave on Guitar, and Clyde on Bass.
