Tragedy Of The Commons

Bio

Tragedy of the Commons formed in early 2005, combining the best elements of 4 bands, with members from Disarm, Oncolio, (Moses and), The Mufflers and 24/7. With a sound like no other, they flip through genres at whim whilst maintaining a solid theme and a unique sound, combining a plethora of individual influences to create a unified whole.

Their work rate is impressive, proving time and time again that they have the ability to step up and blow a crowd away and their live show is renowned for its intensity and extreme energy, with all four members giving everything every time, unafraid to break standard practices to get the audience humming.

The most obvious attribute that shines through everything is that Tragedy of the Commons are not only a band who love what they do but also know how to make you love what they do. While their ensemble of orchestrated noise compliments the often charismatic vocals, the energy and onstage enthusiasm of this band sets them apart from anyone who would attempt to fly an alternate flag.

The band had to take a six-month hiatus in 2005 after Jeremy Wishart seized an opportunity to explore Canada but now are back and better than before. Keep your eyes peeled.
