Formed in Christchurch in January 2005, Avatar has until now been isolated in its practice room, noise control being its only audience.

While maintaining the traditional heavy riffs and chunky beats of hard rock, Avatar goes beyond the conventional approach to rock. This neo-rock quadro is a taste of something you can relate to, with a new flavour.
