Bio

The Tuesdays are a hard pop-rock band from Auckland. Chantel McCarten (vocals/guitar) and Maria Griffith (bass) have been playing and songwriting together for the past six years, four of those with Auckland girl band Babinski, which they formed while still at school.

The pair met Gareth Scott, from Nelson band Probe, in mid 2002 and began playing together, before finally recruiting Mike Rakich, (from Auckland rock band Brutally Frank), to complete their line up.
