This Side Up is a 4-piece band from Christchurch.

"We're a very layed back band (our attitude not out music), just having fun, me (Sammeh) and Luz have never played any instruments before, we one day decided that Luz can't sing to save himself, so when we decided to from a band Luz became thing singer; he's also in the process of learning bass, an interesting way to do it!"

"Join a band, learn this instrument, it's the same myself, I've never drummed before, I haven't even got a drum kit! At the moment I'm playing on large cardboard boxes, infact at yesterdays practise I even used a broken laptop as a symbol! Tobeh and Skywalker have both been playing electric for about 6 months now."
