Cashek - Single Review: Ciel d’Amour (feat. Lorenzo Pradel)

02 Apr 2020 // A review by Gaby Ivanov-Giraldo

Floyd Pepper, aka Cashek, just released his latest single Ciel d’Amour featuring the smooth voice of Lorenzo Pradel. This is a 'post-summer', sensual track for those that enjoy electronic, RnB, soul, house, cinematic EDM and the like.

Cashek was born of Floyd’s captivation with the technical aspects of music and production skills. It’s a delicate, light track with polished, low pitched vocals and lyrics swimming of ideas of love, naturescapes and freshness. The track drops at 30 seconds, with a sonorous bridge that packs a pulse. The deep voice of Lorenzo Pradel sets the mood, ‘R’ rolling in exoticism, and leaving us with an emotive warmth.

Electronic music is broad with many different niches and complexities. It is more than just DJ-ing and crafting audio; it’s emotiveness is designed to make you want to dance and connect. Each niche works to different bpm’s and different ears; expressing both musical and cinematic art forms. Cashek brings in both acoustic elements and technical ones and has crafted his way of his own personal expression. This single is definitely one to add to the resonant collection this autumn. Out on all major streaming including Soundcloud, Apple Music, Bandcamp and Spotify.

Rating: ( 5 / 5 )

About Cashek

Cashek was born from Floyd Peppers fascination with the more technical side of music production. After years of performing and recording with bands Floyd has taken the time to dive deeper into his own sound.

Cashek is a blend of electronic and acoustic elements, rich with cinematic textures and lush soundscapes; ultimately providing listeners with emotive songs destined for introspective reflection, and dancing.
