Bianca Isabel - Single Review: Will It Be Enough?

13 Mar 2020 // A review by IslaMusic
Singer-songwriter Bianca Isabel is prolific and talented. Her Instagram is riddled with song ideas and pictures of her performing at local venues. The sixteen year old is a force to be reckoned with, taking initiative and pushing her way into the music scene. Following the 2019 release of her single Hypocrite, she is ready to send her fourth track Will It Be Enough? into the wild.

Will It Be Enough? grapples with the familiar feelings of inadequacy that haunt the teenage years. She approaches the topic with a quiet maturity, reflecting on the lengths she’d go to in order to be noticed. With a clever use of keys and synth, the song takes the listener back to the melancholy of growing up. The use of dramatic reverb and the repeated wondering “am I beautiful now?” allow the listener to wallow with her.

Bianca demonstrates her potential as a songwriter, switching up the rhythms in her writing. The song keeps fresh to the final second. Her voice is sweet and well controlled, allowing her to communicate her feelings with sincerity. Will It Be Enough? feels like a solid step forward for the young songwriter, and we are eager to see what she comes up with next.

Rating: ( 4 / 5 )

About Bianca Isabel

Fifteen year old Bianca Isabel was born and raised in Wellington, Bianca Isabel found a passion for songwriting at the age of 12, when she began writing satirical songs often based of her teachers and humorous situations. A year and a half later, turning 13 her music evolved to become more meaningful as the tougher times in her life began to influence her music.

Her first single How Can A Witch? written in 2018 based of a toxic friendship and her upcoming single Lovely Day (to be released on July the 24th 2019) also written in 2018 is an upbeat punk pop ballad which expresses common frustrations which people of all ages can relate to. Bianca has plans to release many more songs in the future.
