Tauranga based singer/songwriter; Brendan McCarthy from Apollo SteamTrain has just released his first new
offering of 2020 with the single Sail Across The Sky. This is a beautiful acoustic love ballad which speaks of the reality of being in a long term relationship.

offering of 2020 with the single Sail Across The Sky. This is a beautiful acoustic love ballad which speaks of the reality of being in a long term relationship.
Sail Across The Sky is a further testament to what a talented musical artist and songwriter Brendan is. He has delivered heartfelt elegant lyrics in a single which proves he is staying true to his musical vision. The sound is an acoustic, Celtic ballad that flows elegantly.
The stunning harmony which further enhances Sail Across The Sky is provided by Denise Hyde.
Apollo SteamTrain has a contrasting range of music. I know it well, but I can truly say this brought a wee tear to my eye. An impressive start to 2020.

Brendan has a deal in place with Songbroker which has seen his tracks synced on several high profile TV shows including Shortland Street and Filthy Rich.
Brendan has worked with several procucers including internationally renowned Greg Haver (Manic Street Preachers, OpShop, Catatonia, The Feelers, Six60), recording 2 tracks at Neil Finn's Round Head Studios.
