Sons Of Zion - Single Review: Come Home

Come Home is the latest single by rising stars Sons Of Zion, coming off the huge success of previous single Drift Away. This new track sounds a lot like the rambunctious older sister to Drift Away.
With a tropical upbeat summer pop vibe, commercial radio stations will lap this one up and with its slick production and catchy soulful vocal delivery it’s easy to see why.
I really dig the sparse and crisp production on this song, the vocal harmonies work very well and aren’t overcooked, traditionally these guys have used reggae and roots to paint their canvas but now they have expanded their palette to include electro pop and folk elements and I think it’s a nice fusion that sets them apart from other bands of similar ilk. Another solid release by this talented Auckland 6-piece.
