Imagine This has once again demonstrated why he is blazing a highly productive music trail by teaming up with one of New Zealand’s top Hip-Hop recording artists King Kapisi, to;make his latest single Like A Game. The prolific collaborator hailing from Auckland with a busy International touring presence has proved again that his highly creative and productive work ethic is paying off.

This is a musical artist who pours his heart and soul into his work; he is humble and very thankful and makes sure his fans know it. Respect. He is a rapper/songwriter/producer with a multi genre focus, who can masterfully mix and meld electronic beats.

The sensational new original single and accompanying video is about committing to a long game, playing it for the right reasons and enjoying the trip.

A high tech video with full 360 small planet images created by Get High Visuals, will enable fans with 360° headsets to experience the journey through Auckland central city by Imagine This and King Kapisi. It is pretty trippy to watch without the high-tech gear so I can guess that it would be incredible with it. The humour of the little dance number at the end it just goes to show that despite being on the “bleeding-edge” of hip-hop, Imagine This has a playful side and knows how to connect with his audience.

The track its self has a dope beat and nice clean bass drop, enough to give you the tingles but not enough to be bone shaking. The lyrics are smart and creative “so much crazy around it’s hard for me to tell where is up and where is down”, I am sure that vocalises what most of us feel at some stage.

Combining the imagery with that beat, electronic wizardry and King Kapisi, I would say Imagine This is onto another winner.

On stage Wellington-born Samoan King Kapisi, aka Bill Urale, is a Kiwi hip-hop legend.

He’s performed at nearly every major New Zealand music event and alongside The Black Eyed Peas, Janet Jackson and the Beastie Boys, to name just a few.

Back home in Blockhouse Bay , however, the basketball-loving father-of-four is a lot like you and me – he loves hanging with his family and friends.
