For the first time ever performing acoustically in New Zealand comes the desert legend John Garcia. Whammy Bar + Valhalla invite you to hitch a ride, settle in the backseat and listen to John Garcia’s stories as he performs tracks across his storied catalogue acoustically for the first time ever in New Zealand.
From being in bands such as Slo Burn, Unida, Hermano, Vista
Chino, and the former singer of Kyuss, John Garcia may rightfully be considered
as the ultimate incarnation of stoner rock. His first solo album and opus
eponymous from 2014 is followed roughly three years later by The Coyote Who
Spoke In Tongues, a comparatively relaxed and purely acoustic affair released
2017. Celebrate this ANZAC evening in Auckland with Whammy Bar + ANZAC
day in Wellington with Valhalla.
