Graeme James has cut loose in his raucous, foot-stomping new single Wish You Well which is available to pre-order today!
Partly recorded in an old wooden hall after one of his live shows, this county-infused dance tune laments the imminent departure of an old friend who is boarding a plane to travel the world. Fittingly, the friend in question hailed from small-town Texas, where folks still frequent dance halls on a Friday night for a good ol’ fashioned boot scoot.
Wish You Well is Graeme’s second single with his new record label Nettwerk and follows a steady stream of successes in the last 12 months. His debut original album from 2016 News From Nowhere, peaked at #3 on the NZ Album Charts and was a finalist in the NZ Folk Album of The Year 2017. With strong features on international Spotify playlists, especially in the United States, his music has racked up over 7 million streams; making him one of New Zealand’s most listened to indie artists.
