David Dallas Announced A Special Guest For Future On Its New Zealand Tour

01 June 2017 - 0 Comments

Atlanta music superstar Future recently announced The Nobody Safe Tour performing in New Zealand for the very first time.

Joining Future at Auckland’s Spark Arena on Thursday, September 28 will be trailblazing, Kiwi hip-hop stylist David Dallas as his special guest.

David Dallas is arguably the biggest innovator in hip-hop New Zealand has seen in two decades. To date Dallas has released four impressive studio albums, however his most recent release (April 2017), Hood Country Club is undoubtedly his most poignant and lyrically strong.

Hood Country Club is yet another exceptional, provocative, intelligent and important album from one of this country’s most pre-eminent voices, singers and musicians.”  Elsewhere

The Runnin chart topper has toured extensively throughout New Zealand, Australia and North America most notably opening for Eminem in New Zealand on his sell-out Rapture Tour and landing a slot on the exclusive SXSW Fader party in 2013 where his set didn’t go unnoticed by musical genius Kayne West.

With rave reviews for Hood Country Club rolling in, an extensive Australian tour scheduled in June and July of this year, David Dallas rise is set to continue both locally and globally.

Tickets are on sale now. For tour and ticket details, visit: livenation.co.nz.

Future is one of music’s most prolific artists. There is no other rapper, singer or writer who simultaneously moves the streets and the Billboard charts with an influence that resonates with stars like Drake, Rihanna and everyone else in between. With 13 gold and platinum singles, six top selling studio albums, 12 mixtapes and 33 music videos, Future’s rank in the game is unmatched.

Launching onto the music scene in 2010, coming up under the Dungeon Family collective, his producer cousin Rico Wade (Organized Noise), Goodie Mob and Outkast, Future had the best teachers any aspiring hip-hop artist could ask for. It didn’t take long for the student to become a master.  With a style that mixes rapping and melodic chants and psychedelic street harmonies, Future has become one of music’s most sought after artists collaborating with Lil Wayne (Love Me), Ariana Grande (Everyday). DJ Khaled (I Got The Keys), Justin Bieber (What’s Hatnin) and Usher (Rivals).

In February, Future made history by scoring back-to-back #1 albums on the Billboard top 200 – anointing him as the ONLY artist in Billboards history to do so. After surprising the world on February 17 with the release of his new self-titled album Future - his fourth consecutive #1 debut on the album charts in less than two years - not one week later, the unstoppable artist dropped his second album HNDRXX (pronounced Hendrix), which followed suite by debuting at #1, knocking his own album off the top spot.

In addition to his chart reign, Future’s co-headline 2016 Summer Sixteen Tour with Drake was one of the highest grossing hip-hop tours ever. On May 4, Future embarked on his 33-date headline The Nobody Safe Tour of North America.

Of his first hometown Atlanta show, AJC.com said: “Future showed that he has the stage presence to match the fact that he one of the most prolific rappers to come out of this city”.

Don’t miss this exclusive live opportunity to behold a musical genius who is simply inimitable.
