20 January 2017 - 0 Comments

Songs to Scattered Symbols is the new limited edition CD album from IKON (Melbourne), Disjecta Membra (Wellington) and Sounds Like Winter (Sydney), coinciding with the trio’s two New Zealand shows together this coming Waitangi Weekend.

Today, two weeks out from their first night in Wellington, the bands have confirmed details of the commemorative split release, including the album’s title, full track-listing, and front cover design from Manawatū artist Sean Macintyre (Painted Brain).

The first preview track from the disc also receives its unveiling today; Disjecta Membra with a cover of IKON’s 1998 single, ‘Subversion’.

Limited to 100 individually numbered copies in 4-panel card wallets, the collectible Songs to Scattered Symbols CD is available exclusively from the bands’ shows together in Wellington and Auckland, or with presale tickets from Undertheradar.co.nz

IKON, Disjecta Membra and Sounds Like Winter play Valhalla Tavern in Wellington on Friday, 3 February, with local support from AMY_cin and DJ Nightmare 666(RadioActive.fm); followed by Sunday, 5 February at Whammy! Bar in Auckland, with special guests Stars and the Underground and DJ Pennie Raven Black (95bFM).
