Music News - 'Fade Away' By Illuminus

'Fade Away' By Illuminus

24 February 2016 - 0 Comments

Fade Away is the new single from Auckland based alternative rock band Illuminus.

An emotionally charged song, Fade Away is about being true to yourself, holding fast to your values when challenged by society to conform and go against your nature."

Heralding the forthcoming album Endless, this track signals the upcoming album will showcase lyrical depth with a sound that hits hard like a rock tsunami.

Combining elements of alternative and progressive rock-metal with strings, keyboards and Aidan’s unique vocal style.  The Illuminus sound is bold, at times aggressive and bursting with ambience, texture and dynamics.

Originally a 3-piece band, Illuminus is now joined by the operatic and classically trained Mila Dickens on backing vocals and keyboards, enhancing the Illuminus sound.

Fade Away is also accompanied by a music video directed by frontman Aidan Dickens.

Endless promises to be a worthy follow up album to their debut Until The End
