Drawing on influences from Vangelis to modern day experimental electro such as Fever Ray, Little Bark has created her own Unique Sonic Broadcast with her album USB set for release on August 29th 2014.
This week she’s giving another teaser of the album with the release of two new singles Hmmm and the instrumental New Day.

Following her critically acclaimed self-released debut Hope Is Rubbery in 2011, Little Bark has spent the last three years readying herself for her sophomore album USB (Unique Sonic Broadcast). Co-produced with long-term collaborator Stef Animal (The Golden Awesome, Mestar), the synth-based album is laid out like a film soundtrack with a mixture of synth pop songs interspersed with lush instrumentals.
With two singles from the album already released, including Modern Love which featured in Alt-Radio charts, and Arpreggiator which was handpicked as part of the NZ Music Month’s Becks New New Zealand music project. The video for the new track Hmmm features a visual generated from the colour palette of the USB album cover and can be watched here.
Pre-orders are now available for limited edition purple vinyl pressing of the album. Along with special pre-order packages including a Mica Still designed t-shirt and a USB featuring the entire Little Bark catalogue featuring bonus b-sides + re-mixes.
