Kick off summer in style with the Summer Party Bus DJ Tour of Auckland and Wellington.
30 lucky fans get the once-in-a-lifetime chance to travel around the North Island on the Summer Party Bus DJ Tour with Dane Rumble, Late Nyte Hype and Jupiter Project feat. Jessie G.
The Summer Party Bus DJ Tour commences on December 1st in Auckland then moves to Wellington on December 8th, offering an amazing fan experience, which features a VIP party bus that will take the band, media and winners to each venue during the night along with awesome prizes.
15 winners be selected who will each receive a seat for them and a friend on the Summer Party Bus, a free pair of converse Chuck Taylors, a Meet & Greet with the bands and entry to the two concerts all in 1 night.
Eager fans randomly selected during the evening can also win chances for a Meet & Greet with the bands and spots on the Summer Party Bus.
Pulling up first to the Backyard Bar in the Auckland suburb of Northcote, in the Jagermeister Tour Bus on Saturday 1st December for a LIVE & FREE DJ concert, the bands will perform for 3 hours on the Jagermeister Stage. The Summer Party Bus will then transfer the bands and winners to the famous Whiskey Bar on Ponsonby road for another FREE concert, until the wee hours of the next morning.
On 8th December, the Summer Party Bus will start its journey at the Hope Bros. Bar in the Wellington city center, picking up the fans and winners and then travelling on to the Empire Tavern in Petone with FREE entry to the show. Winners and the bands will then be returned the Hope Bros. Bar for another concert, this time with a $5 entry (which includes a free drink) where guests can party until the early hours of the morning.
The Jupiter Project will be performing their latest single ‘Celebration’ the video for which was filmed in the USA last month while the band recorded their debut album (set for release in 2013). Performing live at Rhythm & Vine main stage and campground this year over summer, the Auckland based alternative hip-hop, electronica duo released their single, ‘Hook Up Girl’ feat. Jessie G in July this year and the video has already clocked over 320,000 views on YouTube.
Jessie G’s debut single with Bulletproof ‘Dub Me Crazy’ is now certified gold and they were recently nominated in the VNZMA nomination for ‘Best Electronica Album’. She will be performing a number of gigs with Jupiter Project over summer.
Dane Rumble is already a household name after the soaring success of his Platinum debut album The Experiment, which debuted at #1 on the New Zealand Top 40 Album Chart. With his latest single ‘Tonight’ out now, Dane will be performing an exciting DJ set on the tour.
Joining Dane are the boys from Late Nyte Hype - described as ‘straight power-pop’ – the group have recently risen to success with their singles ‘So High’ and the recently released ‘We All Are’ featuring Ash from Kidz In Space.
