hey there who ever reads this

but yeah any way i think there should be more all ages gigs like they did with the managers but have better bands do the support not say that primal insinc sucked they were good in like 1 song harmonic generater by the datsuns phil is a good singer i rrecon that there will be more people going to all ages gigs

get the teens off the streets and in to the gigs to have more fun then standing around or doing gay laps with losers who think they are cool get them in to a nice warm inviorment and get moshing to agent rival state and many more like horror story they are cool(?) well thats it for me bye

All Ages gigs Posted: Tue Aug 31, 2004 11:54 pm
Unfortunately most bars dont want all-ages gigs, they are running a business and they see it as bad business to have a bar open and the taps shut off, i think that sucks too but thats the ay it goes, we have been constantly trying voer the years to get our own venue where we can have all ages gigs, those of us in bands are all keen for it, we just dont have our own venue...

yeah sorry i didn't think about that, New Plymouth council should put out a venue for bands to play all ages like were lucky if we get 10 gigs to go to in a year....... the youth should speak out about it

"id like to help you son, but youre too young to Vote"

- a "Quoted" Congressman.

In Napier theyve got the State of It, awesome place, i used to go to their very first gigs, we had big street protests about the lack of council funding. great Idea, but the majority of youth seem to apathetic....

and you cant spell apathetic without the pathetic... :(

good old new plymouth, filling up the Bowl with old people drunkenly dancing to old people playing, while bogans roam the one ways. yep, its a happening place alright..... we should start up something. something destructive and awesome and bands beside rival state will want to play there and 14yr old girls can learn to not get hammered next time a The Edge-sponsered band plays at their school. You name the venue and i'll bring the duct tape.

its really great not having Riva State in new plymouth right now.. every gig ive been to so far has been great on the ears with no 13 year old looking singer that just screams.
not only is that they played every all ages show here, they nearly got support for all the R18 ones too.. i swear there are other great bands here like agent, horror story, i really want to see g.f.n.r play again, transvania how ever you spell it is good..

tho it would be alot easier on underage bands and new bands to get out there and play if there was an all ages venue in this "town"..

tho i practicly heard rival state everyday in music at school.. you couldnt go a day in music class with out hearing nimal start something..

a good band tho..
