Dennis Marsh and Eddie Low - From Our Place To Your Place Tour

14 February 2013 - 0 Comments

The Road is calling...

The Road is calling New Zealand country music stars and long time friends Dennis Marsh and Eddie Low to team up for an extensive North Island tour. Naturally they’ve answered the call positively with the 15 date North Island tour kicking off at Rotorua’s Civic Theatre on April 3rd.

In a year (2012) that has seen them easily outsell the majority of contemporary NZ recording artists, Dennis & Eddie will perform for the entire show together and separately, in fact a show in two halves, accompanied by their well know backing band “The Midnight Special”.

Promoter Brent Eccles says “the boys really wanted to get out to play the heartland and having spoken to venue operators in places like Masterton, Te Kuiti, Opotiki  & Whakatane, I can see why...they are jumping for joy. This is going to be a special tour!”

There is no doubt that Dennis Marsh & Eddie Low are New Zealand music legends. They have had an incredible impact on our national music scene.

Dennis Marsh has amassed a massive 350,000 album sales, including 3 Platinum and 11 Gold albums, making him NZ’s top selling country music artist of all time!  In 2011 he received the ‘Legend Award’ at the annual New Zealand Country Music Awards, which added to an already impressive amount of recognition he has received over the last 25 years for his talent, both here in New Zealand and Australia.

Eddie Low is just a name EVERYBODY in NZ knows! Eddie won the 2009 Country Music ‘Legend Award’ and his career of 50 years has taken him around the world and onto stages with music’s greats, including Johnny Cash, Charlie Pride, Buck Owens, Tom T Hall, Freddie Fender, Kenny Rogers and many more.  In 2011 Eddie released his most recent collection, “The Voice In A Million: The Very Best Of Eddie Low” and it remained in New Zealand’s Top 40 album charts for over 13 weeks, achieving platinum sales status!

So there you go , so step aside the would be if y’ could be’s, here come Dennis & Eddie with a tour we aint gonna forget in a hurry!!

Tickets for all shows go on sale on Tuesday 19 February.
