Welcome to the world of phat, a bass heavy underground community about to turn 4 years old...come prepared for all weather styles & with a smile on your face & we'll do all we can to ensure you have a wicked party.....Inangahua was the only place last new years to experience fine weather on New Years Eve but with a 5 day event you're bound to experience everything from heat to cold to dry to wet....bring ya gummies & ya togs (nice cool swimming holes in the river)....feel free to wig out & bodypaint out....onsite characterisation & bohemian pirates all welcome!

Full price tickets now available from the Ticketing page on this website, early bird tickets all gone sorry! ... Free camping on site is available to all ticket holders although facilities are limited to an outdoor wilderness experience (ie no electricity) & we expect you to take up a reasonable amount of room ie one standard car/van & similar sized tent per 2 people , if u intend bringing large vehicles please email us & check first ...we provide flush toilets, water on tap & a range of cash food stalls, bars (require R18 ID), coffee suppliers etc;

Phat08 is all ages but under 15 year olds must be accompanied by an adult & photo ID is required to obtain access to the licenced bars; Sat 29 Dec the gates open at noon & you are able to enter the site & setup your camping spots;

See SITE MAP at the very bottom of this page for camping areas....if u wish to camp with a group of friends the best scheme is to meet up before you enter the site & drive in together

We expect you to be as self sufficient as possible; Friendly security will check your vehicles on entry; no byo alcohol is permitted on site under the terms of our liquor licence; no dogs, glass or dangerous substances such as fireworks will be admitted; the 2nd zone will fire up at 6pm on the 29 Dec, with the mainstage starting at noon on Sunday 30 Dec & both running continuously thru until 1.30pm on Wednesday 2 January;

We have a no-passouts policy: the reasons for this include keeping the local residents/farmers happy, safety re traffic on the narrow access road & safety re theft by persons coming & going (this has occured in the past); the entry ticket price applies no matter how long you wish to be at the event; you are able to arrive at any point from noon 29 Dec (or just for the last day if that's all you want to see) but the no-pass-out policy applies from the time of entry & there are no discounts for shorter attendance; THERE ARE ABSOLUTELY NO GATE SALES!

There is no phone coverage or eftpos this year so leave your mobiles at home or safely locked in your car...lets make Phat a digital chatter free zone

Full lineup timetables for both stages will be released at least one month prior to the event on this site & available at the gate when you arrive; who's on which night (a rough guide) listed below: keep checking this page for all updates....

TRANSPORTATION: from Chch you can travel by rail to Greymouth : http://www.railnewzealand.com/Tranzalpine.html & then by bus to Inangahua : http://www.intercity.co.nz/ from Wgtn you can ferry to Picton & then drive (approx 3.5 hours) to Inangahua : http://www.ferrytickets.co.nz/index.html
